Technika Cup 2023 en – SAN DÓ MON

Dear friends,

we are hereby inviting you to traditional event organized by Sandomon Prague: Technika Cup 2023.

The event will take place from February 24th to February 26th 2023.
This time, we have invited two precious guests: Mr. Livio Lancini, 7th dan kendo and Mr. Dario Baeli, 5th dan kendo, captain of the Italian National Team and Italian Individual Champion in 2021 and 2022.
There will be a seminar with our guests on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. The traditional tournament will take place the day after, on Sunday 26th.

What’s the plan?

Friday 24. 2.:
- Seminar from 16:30 – 19:30
Saturday 25. 2. :
- Seminar from 10:00 – 17:00.
- Lunchbreak: 12:30 – 14:00
- Exams: 17:00 – 19:00
Sunday 26. 2.: competitions: kyu, junior, ladies, open 9:00 – 17:00
- 7:30 opening the dojo and final preparations
- 8:00 shinai check and warm up
- 8:45 line-up and referee assembly
- 9:00 – 10:00 kyu tournament
- 10:00 – 13:00 ladies tournament
- 13:00 – 14:00 junior tournament
- 14:00 – 17:00 open tournament
- 17:00 – 18:00 leaving the dojo

It is NOT possible to sleep over in the dojo!

How to join?

This year, exams for 6th kyu – 3rd dan will also take place. Non-ČFK participants of the kyu exam need to have an agreement from their President or Technical Director in order to take part in the exam. The agreement can be printed out or it can be sent via email to: ondra.svorc@seznam.cz.

Non-ČFK participants of the dan exam must be registered as per traditional EKF procedures, as well as by filling in the attached registration form.

Please send the seminar, exam and tournament fees to the bank account number 2400912497/2010 (note: NameOfDojo_Technika23) by February 20th OR let us know in the registration form if you prefer to pay in cash. EUR and CZK are accepted.
Payments follow the chart below. Organizers’ fee is included in the club payment. The fee for ČFK /EKF will be paid in cash on spot after a successfully passed exam.
